Welcome to La Manga del Mar Menor (Murcia, Spain). A peculiar 24 km long sand spit which was structured from Cabo de Palos, north. Its formation was due to sand sedimentation that provided the dominant currents in the area. The lagoon known as the Mar Menor coastal perimeter, has 73 km of coastline that are happening beaches with clear waters and shallow (maximum depth is no greater than 7 meters), with 170 km2 of surface, making the lagoon of the Mar Menor in the saltwater lake largest in Europe. Not to mention the very near Mediterranean that feeds the lake, and makes this area can be proud of having "two seas". An unique site.
